WASHINGTON - Mar 29/18 - SNS -- Area expected to be planted to sugarbeets for the 2018 crop year is estimated at 1.11 million acres, down 2% from 2017, according to the USDA's seeding intentions report for 2018.
Intended plantings are below the previous year in 6 of the 11 estimating States.
