Dry Beans Continue to Ease

PANAMA - Mar 16/18 - SNS -- Dry edible bean and other pulse markets continued to ease during the past week against changes in fundamental demand.

This was reflected in markets in the United States, with the U.S. spot index for beans finishing the week down 0.6 points to finish the week at 121.9.

Other major pulse price indices finished the week with an easier undertone because of anxiety over India. The Canadian pulse price index lost 1.2 points to finish the week at 148.9, while the world pulse price index slipped 0.4 points to close at 133.7.
