Chickpeas Absorb Bad News
PANAMA - Mar 10/18 - SNS -- Chickpea markets finished the week's trading little changed after absorbing the latest production forecasts for Mexico and India.
Export movement from Canada, the United States and Australia maintained a solid pace in January, despite diminished demand from India.
Australian desi chickpea exporters shipped less than 1,000 metric tons (MT) of chickpeas to India during the month, but saw movement to Bangladesh and Pakistan jump.
