USDA Sets March Interest Rates

WASHINGTON - Mar 1/18 - SNS --- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation set interest rates for March 2018. The Commodity Credit Corporation borrowing rate-based charge for March is 1.875%, up from 1.75% in February.

The interest rate for crop year commodity loans less than one year disbursed during March is 2.875%, up from 2.75% in February.

Interest rates for Farm Storage Facility Loans approved for March are as follows, 2.25% with three-year loan terms, up from 2.125% in February; 2.5% with five-year loan terms, up from 2.25% in February; 2.75% with seven-year loan terms, up from 2.375% in February; 2.75% with 10-year loan terms, up from 2.5% in February and; 2.75% with 12-year loan terms, up from 2.5% in February. The interest rate for 15-year Sugar Storage Facility Loans for March is 2.875%, up from 2.625% in February.
