Few Changes in Dry Beans

PANAMA - Jan 26/18 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets were little changed in the past week, with prices for U.S. origin product mostly unaffected by weakness in the U.S. dollar versus other currencies.

This was reflected in the U.S. spot index for beans, finished the week down 0.3 points at 124.8 in limited trading activity.

Other major pulse price indices finished the week on a mixed note. The Canadian pulse price index slipped 0.3 points to finish at 161, while the world pulse price index inched up 0.3 points on the week at 140.7.
