Slow Days in Chickpeas

PANAMA - Nov 24/17 - SNS -- International chickpea markets finished the week's trading little changed in seasonally light demand.

The Thanksgiving Day week holiday period in the United States marks the start of the Christmas and New Year's holiday season, which normally sees trading activity slow.

Winter weather in western Canada and the northern United States contributes to the slow down because farmers are generally reluctant to open bins and move product until warmer days.
