Dry Beans Move Sideways
PANAMA - Nov 17/17 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets were little changed in seasonal trading activity during in the past week.
This was reflected in the U.S. spot index for beans, which inched up 0.1 points on the week to close at 124.6.
Other major pulse price indices were sharply lower on the week in response to India's decision to raise the import duty on peas to 50% effective November 9.
