Few Changes in Birdseeds
PANAMA - Nov 10/17 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets finished the week's trading little changed, with most exporters preoccupied with the week's events in pulse markets.
Spot sunflower markets are starting to reflect some harvest selling pressure from growers who do not presell product. The window for them is long, with contracts for next year's crop already available from crushers in the United States.
Those values inevitably set the tone for oil-type sunflower used for birdseed. Confection sunflower, by contrast, was unchanged.
