Weakness in Field Peas
PANAMA - Sep 24/17 - SNS -- North American field pea markets continued to weaken over the past week in both grower and export markets.
This is a reflection of a steep drop in export movement compared to last year, which is causing the available supply of peas to rise relative to prospective demand.
As of September 17, Canadian bulk loadings for export were down 417,000 metric tons (MT) from the same period last year at just over 452,000 MT.
