PANAMA - Sep 23/17 - SNS -- Harvest progress in North America contributed to an easier tone in North American dry edible bean markets during the past week.

This was reflected in the U.S. spot index for beans which lost another 2.2 points on the week to close at 130.

Other major pulse price indices finished the week on a mixed note. The Canadian pulse price index sank 14.8 points to finish at 161.4, while the world pulse price index lost 1.3 points to finish the week at 172.7.
