Kabulis Hold Firm Tone

PANAMA - Sep 23/17 - SNS -- International chickpea markets maintained their firm tone through the past week.

Supplies remain relatively tight, with lower than hoped yields in Canada and the United States contributing to smaller than expected new crop stocks of medium caliber kabuli type chickpeas.

Argentina's crop has entered the flowering stage, with markets now watching how weather during the balance of the growing season develops in the country.
