Decent July French Pea Exports
PARIS - Sep 12/17 - SNS -- Field pea shipments from France started the 2017-18 marketing campaign on a relatively strong note, according from data available from Eurostat and Terres Univia.
Export shipments during the month totalled 20,180 metric tons (MT), up 49% from the 13,443 MT shipped the previous month, but down 58% from the 48,360 MT shipped the same month last year.
Belgium was the most important destination, taking 7,920 MT. Italy was the second most important destination at 6,995 MT, followed by Norway at 2,159 and Germany at 1,250 MT.
