VANCOUVER - Sep 7/17 - STAT -- U.S. Small Red Bean markets finished the 2016-17 marketing year with prices falling 15% below the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was $39.20 per cwt in April, while the lowest monthly average trading level was $36.00 per cwt in August.
During the latest three year period, the highest monthly average trading level was $47.30 per cwt in September, compared to the lowest monthly average of $42.00 per cwt in August.
