United States Regular Lentil Grower Price Review
VANCOUVER - Sep 7/17 - STAT -- United States Regular Lentil markets finished the 2016-17 marketing year with prices offered to growers soaring 22% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Regular Lentil was USD$32.95 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $26.99 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $38.60 per cwt in April, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $25.70 per cwt in September.
