United States Small Red Bean Grower Price Review

VANCOUVER - Sep 7/17 - STAT -- United States Small Red Bean markets finished the 2016-17 marketing year with prices offered to growers easing 1% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.

The average price paid for Small Red Bean was USD$39.69 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $40.10 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.

Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $40.50 per cwt in October, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $36.40 per cwt in September.
