Sharp Drop in Lentil Output
PANAMA - Sep 2/17 - SNS -- International lentil markets found some support in preliminary production estimates from Statistics Canada.
Based on yield estimates from farmers before the harvest got underway, the federal agency said output could be down 29% from last year, dropping from 3.25 to 2.29 million metric tons (MT) of all classes.
