Holidays Quiet Bean Trade

PANAMA - Sep 1/17 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets remained relatively quiet during the past week, influenced by holiday reduced demand in most key destinations.

This was reflected in the U.S. spot index for beans which closed little changed on the week, inching up 0.4 points to 140.8.

Other major pulse price indices finished the week mixed. The Canadian pulse price index dropped 1.9 points to finish at 186.8, while the world pulse price index was rose 1.1 to finish the week at 175.
