Dry Edible Beans Little Changed

PANAMA - Aug 19/17 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets finished the week little changed as processors continue to assess crop conditions and progress in North America and other northern hemisphere origins.

This was reflected in the U.S. spot index for beans which closed unchanged at 140.3 points for the week.

The current North American weather market affected other major pulse prices indices. The Canadian pulse price index slipped 1.8 points to finish at 192.4, while the world pulse price index inched up 0.9 points to close the week at 173.9.
