Marrowfat Pea Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/17 - STAT -- Canadian Marrowfat Pea markets finished the 2016-17 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 11% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Marrowfat Pea was CDN$322.03 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $363.48 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $339.88 per MT in June, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $312.32 per MT in February.
