Defensive Posture in Beans
PANAMA - Jun 24/17 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets finished the week on a generally firmer undertone in the face of defensive pricing by processors and exporters in several regions.
This was reflected in the U.S. spot index for beans was little changed rose 0.3 points on the week to 138.2.
Other pulse markets were generally easier. The Canadian pulse price index dropped 2.1 points to finish at 178.8, while the world pulse price index fell 1.6 points to close the week at 175.9.
