More Certainty Over India
PANAMA - Apr 8/17 - SNS -- International field markets continue to find support from strong export movement and reduced anxiety over movement to India.
The three month extension of the exemption which allows Canada to ship pulses without first fumigating them is a relief to companies currently moving bulk product to the country.
Markets also obtained clarity about India's pulse import duties. Though a 10% duty was imposed on tur, other pulses continue to enter the country duty free.
