USDA Sets AprilInterest Rate

WASHINGTON - Apr 3/17 - SNS -- The USDA's (USDA) Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) set interest rates for April 2017. The CCC borrowing rate-based charge for April is 1.000%, up from 0.875% in March.

The interest rate for crop year commodity loans less than one year disbursed during April is 2.000%, up from 1.875% in March.

Interest rates for Farm Storage Facility Loans approved for March are as follows, 1.625% with three-year loan terms, up from 1.500% in March; 2.000% with five-year loan terms, up from 1.875% in March; 2.250% with seven-year loan terms, unchanged from 2.250% in March; 2.500% with 10-year loan terms, unchanged from 2.500% in March and; 2.500% with 12-year loan terms, unchanged from 2.500% in March. The interest rate for 15-year Sugar Storage Facility Loans for April is 2.625%, unchanged from 2.625% in March.
