Easing Tone in World Pulses

PANAMA - Feb 24/17 - SNS -- International dry edible beasn markets posyted a mixed finish during the week, though pulse markets exhibted a generally softer tone in the face of seasonally slower trading interest.

This was reflected in the performance of the pulse price indexes. The U.S. spot index for beans, inched up 0.6 points on the week to finish at 147.7 points.

Other pulse markets ended the week on weaker note. The Canadian pulse price index fell 9.1 points to finish at 194.5. By contrast, the world pulse price index dropped 7.8 points to finish at 186.4.
