Weaker Tone in World Pulses

PANAMA - Feb 12/17 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets finished the week's trading on a mixed note, reflecting continued efforts by processors and exporters to attract new business.

This was reflected in the performance of the pulse price indexes. The U.S. spot index for beans, which was unchanged on the week at 148 points.

Other pulse markets ended the week on weaker note. The Canadian pulse price index dropped 1.5 points to finish at 204.8. The world pulse price index fell 2.8 points to finish at 193.3.
