USDA Sets February Inyterest Rates

WASHINGTON - Feb 1/17 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) set interest rates for February 2017. The CCC borrowing rate-based charge for February is 0.875%, unchanged from 0.875% in January.

The interest rate for crop year commodity loans less than one year disbursed during February is 1.875%, unchanged from 1.875% in January.

Interest rates for Farm Storage Facility Loans approved for February are as follows, 1.500% with three-year loan terms, unchanged from 1.500% in January; 2.000% with five-year loan terms, up from 1.875% in January; 2.250% with seven-year loan terms, unchanged from 2.250% in January; 2.500% with 10-year loan terms, up from 2.375% in January and; 2.500% with 12-year loan terms, unchanged from 2.500% in January. The interest rate for 15-year Sugar Storage Facility Loans for February is 2.625%, unchanged from 2.625% in January.
