Hop Stocks Rise 10%
WASHINGTON - Mar 21/06 - SNS -- Hop stocks held by growers, dealers, and brewers on March 1 totaled 131 million pounds, 10% more than last year, according to the USDA.
Stocks held by brewers, at 43.0 million pounds, were unchanged from last year. Stocks held by growers and dealers on March 1 totaled 88.0 million pounds, up 16% from a year ago.
