WASHINGTON - Mar 31/14 - SNS -- Area seeded to Durum wheat for 2014 is expected to total 1.80 million acres, up 22% from 2013, according to the USDA's seeding intentions estimates for 2014.
Large planted acreage increases are expected in Montana and North Dakota. If realized, planted acres will be a record low in South Dakota.
