Beans Worry About Seeding Delays

PANAMA - May 20/22 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets remain moderately worried about the pace of seeding this year's crops in the United States and Manitoba as cool and damp conditions continues to slowed progress.

This was reflected in the dry edible bean price index for the United States, which was unchanged on the week to close at 119.3 points.

By contrast, the global pulse price index declined 2.8 points on the week to close at 117.6 while the Canadian index lost 1.5 points to finish at 124.8.
