Spain's Confection Sunflower Imports Manage Easy Opening
PANAMA - May 17/22 - SNS -- Imports of confection sunflowers by Spain dropped relative to the previous month in March, official data from Eurostat shows.
Imports totalled 35,245 metric tons (MT) for the month, down 19% from the 43,522 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 96,623 MT, compared to 54,484 in the same period the previous calendar year.
The latest movement statistics reported France was biggest export origin, selling 27,515 MT. Netherlands was the second most important exporter selling 4,611 MT, followed by China at 1,684 MT.
