Broadbean Exports From Australia Start With Firm Tone

PANAMA - Apr 7/22 - SNS -- At this point in the current marketing year on a a stronger tone, with broadbean shipments for Australia showed modest gains, advancing relative to the previous month in February, according to official statistics from Australia Bureau of Statistics.

Exports reached 112,017 metric tons (MT) for the month, up 6% from the 105,419 MT exported the previous month. Movement so far total 299,017 MT, compared to 272,851 during the previous marketing year.

Egypt was the most important consumer for the month, taking 100,981 MT. Saudi Arabia was the second most important destination buying 3,005 MT, followed by Indonesia at 2,449 MT.
