Australia's Broadbean Exports Post A Better Result
PANAMA - Mar 3/22 - SNS -- Shipments of broadbeans for Australia leapt versus the previous month in January, data from Australia Bureau of Statistics reveals.
Exports for the first month of the marketing year totalled 107,076 metric tons (MT), up 283% from 27,985 MT the previous month. The statistics showed exports is down 15% from the 222,729 MT recorded during the same month last year.
The largest destination during the month was Egypt, buying 99,158 MT. Saudi Arabia was the second most important importer receiving 2,527 MT, followed by United Arab Emirates at 1,784 MT.
