PANAMA - Jun 18/21 - SNS -- Field pea markets were relatively quiet during the past week, resulting in a modest easing in nominal asking prices in both spot and new crop shipping positions.
Markets are keen to see the results of the seeded area estimates due at the end of the month for both Canada and the United States.
Expectations about yield prospects improved in Canada this month because of recent rains, while worries persist in some key parts of the U.S. growing area.
