Easier Week in Dry Beans

PANAMA - Jun 18/21 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets were somewhat easier during the past week with processors and exporters trying to move remaining old crop inventories while buyers maintained their 'wait and see' posture.

This was reflected in the dry edible bean price index for the United States, which slipped 0.5 points on the week to finish at 97.6, ending its recent advances.

At the same time, the global pulse price index declined 0.6 points to close at 92.5 while the Canadian index fell 1.3 points to finish at 92.9 points.
