Spain's Field Pea Imports Record Soft Opening
PANAMA - Jun 18/21 - SNS -- Spain's imports of field peas during February shrank compared to the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.
Imports for the month totalled 7,879 metric tons (MT), down from 20,588 MT the previous month. This boosted imports so far during the calendar year to 28,467, up 406% last year.
Russia was the most important export origin, selling 7,071 MT. France was the second most important supplier shipping 443 MT, followed by Canada at 166 MT.
