Canada's Monthly Movement Mostly Unchanged
PANAMA - Jun 12/21 - SNS -- Canada's shipments of yellow peas in April were unchanged, versus the previous month, judging from data from Statistics Canada.
Total export sales throughout the month reached 204,364 metric tons (MT), unchanged from the previous month's total of 204,759. So far exports have amounted to 2,497,597 MT, up from 2,327,162 in the same period the previous marketing year.
The number one importer for the month was China, taking 184,551 MT. Bangladesh was the second most important consumer receiving 12,187 MT, followed by Nepal at 2,950 MT.
