Bulk Lentil Movement Jumped in April
WINNIPEG - May 28/21 - SNS -- The Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) reports 148,400 metric tons (MT) lentils were loaded for export through licensed facilities which are required to report to it all grain movement in April.
The CGC reports 77,400 MT were shipped the same month last year, while movement is up from the 61,000 MT shipped the previous month.
This lifted bulk loadings for the marketing year to 815,600 MT, compared to 727,100 MT during the same period last season.
