Two Thirds of U.S. Pea Crop In The Ground
WASHINGTON - May 18/21 - SNS -- Field pea growers in the United States are taking advantage of dry conditions to push forward with seeding this year's crop.
This lifted estimated progress for the United States to 66% complete, for a slightly faster pace than last year and during the previous five years.
Dry conditions are reported over much of the growing area. Even so, overall crop condition in those states reporting that data is better than expected.
