Bulk Lentil Movement Picks Up in March
WINNIPEG - Apr 29/21 - SNS -- The Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) reports 61,000 metric tons (MT) lentils were loaded for export through licensed facilities which are required to report to it all grain movement in March.
The CGC reports 142,200 MT were shipped the same month last year, while movement is up from the 53,000 MT shipped the previous month.
This lifted bulk loadings for the marketing year to 667,100 MT, compared to 649,800 MT during the same period last season.
