Lentil Imports By Turkey Manage Easy Performance

PANAMA - Apr 28/21 - SNS -- Imports of lentils for Turkey were slightly lower, falling relative to the previous month in February, the most recent data from Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) reveals.

Total imports throughout the month reached 33,456 metric tons (MT), down 19% from the previous month's total of 41,197. So far imports have amounted to 74,653 MT, up from 69,414 during the last calendar year.

Current trade data showed Canada was most important shipper, shipping 26,055 MT for the month. Australia was the second most important shipper selling 2,655 MT, followed by Kazakhstan at 2,093 MT.
