Moderate Firmness in Lentils
PANAMA - Apr 23/21 - SNS -- Lentil markets finished the week's trading on a generally firmer note against ongoing accumulations of product to cover outstanding sales commitments.
Markets are gaining some support from persistent worries about potential growing conditions because of dryness across parts of Canada and the United States. That will become a greater concern as seeding advances in May.
The greater concern for markets heading into the coming week are the April 27 seeding intentions estimates for Canada.
