Moderate Decline in Dry Bean Crops
WASHINGTON - Aug 3/20 - SNS -- This year's dry edible bean crops deteriorated slightly during the past week In the United States, judging from state level crop reports.
The proportion of the U.S. crop rated good to excellent slipped from 68% to 66%, while the proportion rated very poor or poor advanced up from 11% to 15%.
Overall crop conditions in North Dakota improved on the week, with 66% of the crop still rated good to excellent, compared to 60% last week.
