VANCOUVER - Aug 3/20 - STAT -- Canadian No 3 Laird Lentil markets finished the 2019-20 marketing year with prices offered to growers inching % below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for No 3 Laird Lentil was CDN$17.33 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $17.38 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $20.80 per cwt in May, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $13.00 per cwt in September.
