Extra 3 Laird Lentil Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 3/20 - STAT -- Canadian Extra 3 Laird Lentil markets finished the 2019-20 marketing year with prices offered to growers inching 1% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Extra 3 Laird Lentil was CDN$21.46 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $21.65 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $26.00 per cwt in April, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $16.40 per cwt in August.
