Canaryseed Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 3/20 - STAT -- Canadian Canaryseed markets finished the 2019-20 marketing year with prices offered to growers soaring 17% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Canaryseed was CDN$28.99 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $24.84 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $30.50 per cwt in December, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $25.00 per cwt in August.
