Spain's Confection Sunflower Imports Manage Easy Opening
PANAMA - May 15/20 - SNS -- At this point in the calendar year amanagedan easier performance, with confection sunflower imports for Spain were well down, plunging compared to the previous month in March, according to official trade data from Eurostat.
Imports for the month totalled 18,926 metric tons (MT), down from 31,476 MT the prior month. This boosted imports so far during the calendar year to 65,424, up 42% last year.
The largest origin throughout the month was France, supplying 14,742 MT. China was the second most important origin shipping 1,626 MT, followed by United States at 936 MT.
