Confection Sunflower Exports From Bulgaria Start With Weak Note
PANAMA - May 15/20 - SNS -- Export shipments of confection sunflowers from Bulgaria plunged compared to the previous month in March, the most recent data from Eurostat shows.
Total export sales for the month reached 13,002 metric tons (MT), down 63% from the previous month's total of 35,272. So far exports have amounted to 90,622 MT, down from 100,028 during the last calendar year.
In the month, United States was the top buyer, receiving 7,096 MT. China was the second most important destination receiving 1,410 MT, followed by Canada at 806 MT.
