Winter Durum Crop Up 13%

WASHINGTON - May 12/20 - SNS -- Production of Durum wheat in Arizona and California is forecast at a collective 6.39 million bushels, up 13% from last year, according to the USDA's last crop report.

In some areas of California, some acreages were nearly ready for harvest.
