Chickpea Exports From Australia Manage Easy Month
PANAMA - May 7/20 - SNS -- At this point in the current marketing year amanagedan easier performance, with chickpea shipments for Australia fell sharply compared to the previous month in March, judging from the latest data from Australia Bureau of Statistics.
Shipments for the month reached 17,417 metric tons (MT), down from 49,892 MT the previous month. This increased movement so far during the marketing year to 218,273, up 32% last year.
The most recent movement statistics showed Bangladesh was number one consumer, taking 6,482 MT. United Arab Emirates was the second most important importer buying 4,591 MT, followed by Pakistan at 2,936 MT.
