Few Changes in Dry Beans

PANAMA - May 1/20 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets finished the week's trading little changed on the week, with some exporters becoming cautious about adding to sales positions.

The net result was the spot index for dry edible beans in the United States was unchanged at 167.7 points, with easing values for some classes offset by gains in others.

By contrast, the Canadian pulse prices index rose 0.4 points to close at 149.2, for its seventh consecutive weekly rise. By contrast, the global index eased 0.3 points to finish at 156.5 on modest reductions in Australian values.
