Field Pea Exports From Lithuania Start On Firm Note
PANAMA - Apr 20/20 - SNS -- So far during this calendar year on a a firmer tone, with field pea exports for Lithuania rocketed relative to the previous month in February, according to available statistics from Eurostat.
Exports during the month totalled 39,527 metric tons (MT), up from 22,203 MT the previous month. This lifted movement so far during the calendar year to 61,730, up 39% last year.
The top importer during the month was Egypt, receiving 13,100 MT. Turkey was the second most important consumer taking 8,700 MT, followed by France at 6,000 MT.
